We begin at the Franciscan Basilica, where Prince Bolesław the Chaste is buried. We will also hear about his close relatives – his sister Salomea, venerated as a saint, and his wife King(a), whose cult lives on to this day. Next, we visit the Dominican Church, built by Bishop Iwo Odrowąż for his brother Hyacinth, one of the first Dominican saints of worldwide renown. Finally, at the grand Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, we learn how the eloquence of the Jesuits could bend even kings to their will.
