Sacred Treasures of Old Kraków

3 hours

Easy

Private round-trip transfer from Krakow to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Door-to-door service from your hotel or apartment, timed to your museum entry slot.

This is a tour through centuries of art, architecture, and spirituality, showcasing masterpieces of painting, sculpture, and design created by the greatest masters of their time.

We begin on the Main Market Square, at the entrance to the St. Mary’s Basilica, the symbol of Kraków, famous for Veit Stoss’s magnificent altarpiece. Next, we see the tiny yet ancient Church of St. Adalbert (St. Wojciech), one of the city’s oldest temples. The walk continues to the monumental Dominican Church, filled with medieval chapels and tombs, and the Franciscan Church, decorated with colorful polychromes and stained-glass windows by Wyspiański.

We will also visit the baroque Church of Sts. Peter and Paul, the first fully Baroque church in Kraków, and the beautiful, though less known, Church of St. Andrew – one of the best-preserved examples of Romanesque architecture in Poland.

A fascinating tour where history, art, and faith intertwine in the very heart of Kraków.
